The finals of the 21st IICC opened grandly on the evening of the 6th. A total of 35 teams won the key to enter the finals, including 27 teams in the domestic team and 8 teams in the international group. The ironmen gather regardless of nationality, gender, or major just to learn and communicate with each other. Before the official start of the finals, the first level the ironmen must face is the team jubilating. The team jubilating accounts for 4% of the final score, so it is one of the events that many teams actively prepare for.

President of National Chi Nan University, stated that in addition to facing the challenges of the competition, the contestants would also have to contend with the weather. July and August are rainy months at NCNU, so in such rapidly changing weather conditions, the ironmen must first take care of their health to advance toward the awards podium in the finals. Director of the MOE, also mentioned that the IICC requires not only academic prowess but also teamwork, which resonate with the interaction and shared success spirit of the 108 Curriculum Guidelines. 黃馨萱 also emphasized that the spirit of the IICC is “If you don’t say no, you can.” Thus, she encouraged the ironmen to unleash their creativity in the finals and achieve great results.

To achieve high scores in the team jubilating, many teams created their own props and choreographed dances, incorporating their unique cultures and creativity. “Renai Road Bye Bye” from Yanping High School and Fuhsing Private School was inspired by their own experiences, depicting a scenario where they escaped from summer classes to participate in the IICC. In addition to the amusing and charming storyline, they crafted exquisite props within the short span of two days after the semi-finals. “Renai Road Bye Bye” mentioned that with only two days between the semi-finals and the finals, they worked around the clock to deliver an outstanding performance. Additionally, they shared that the unstable weather in Nantou made them worry about their performance when their props got a bit wet while transporting them to the venue. Despite this, they received overwhelming applause due to their interesting script and creative props.
