首次造訪台灣的智利隊《Monta TaiWon》，今年以觀摩隊伍的身分參與智鐵競賽，他們以自己的學校名稱改編，再結合與台灣以及勝利相關的單字作為隊名，發揮創意的同時，也期許自己能在這次的智鐵競賽中有好的成績。另外，在隊呼表演，《Monta TaiWon》也大方展示自己國家的文化特色，向大家介紹關於南美洲國家的歡慶方式。

For the first time to visit Taiwan, the team Chile Monta TaiWon joined the IICC 2019 as an observation team. They name the team after their school’s name and combine it with words like Taiwan and winning to make it as a symbol of victory. Moreover Monta TaiWon also show the special culture of their country in the team cheering performance.

It’s called Webeo, like a mix between laughing and dancing and singing and having fun. And that it is also the way makes them happy in Chile and all of South America.

面對極具挑戰性的智鐵競賽，智利隊分享令他們覺得最困難的部分，就是製作最後的主軸任務，同時也分享主軸任務發揮的創意與設計理念，以永續發展以及各類生物的生活方式為發想。

To face the all the challenging tests in IICC, team Chile shared that the main project is the most difficult part of this competition. And they also share their idea of their main project, the main idea of this project is a way of sustainable life, based on the different characteristics and behaviors of different kind of animals.

首次來到台灣，《Monta TaiWon》成員也表示，台灣炎熱的天氣讓他非常印象深刻，儘管是以觀摩隊伍的身份參賽，智利隊還是非常地樂在其中，他們也花費許多心思互相溝通討論，認真參與每一個比賽環節，享受在台灣的短暫時光。（記者黃禹馨、蕭名君／屏東科技大學採訪報導）

As their first time to visit Taiwan, team Chile sharing their experiences coming here. One of the member shared that,” I think Taiwan is nice, but it is hot. As an observation team to join IICC 2019, team Chile enjoyed themselves here and they also spend much times to communicate with each other as doing the tests and the main project.
