TecnoHuasos是由Technology及Huasos兩個單字所組成，Huasos在智利是牛仔的意思，隊名融合科技與當地文化，他們是飄洋過海來到台灣的智利隊伍《TecnoHuasos》。
TecnoHuasos is composed of two words: Technology and Huasos. Huasos means cowboy in Chile. The team name is mix of technology and local culture., they are the Chile team “TecnoHuasos” who has traveled across the sea to Taiwan.
在開幕的隊呼表演上，《TecnoHuasos》帶了來自復活節島的舞蹈，精彩又具特色的舞蹈獲得滿堂喝采。隊員表示，復活節島是智利的一部份，他們認為這個舞蹈對台灣來說很不一樣，於是決定以此做為表演主題。
At the opening ceremony of team jubilation, they brought a dance from Easter Island, and the wonderful and distinctive dance was got full applause. “TecnoHuasos”members said that Easter Island is part of Chile. They think this dance is very different for Taiwan, so they decided to use it as a performance theme.
首度來台參賽的他們既興奮又緊張，對於能夠代表智利出國參賽感到很榮幸，提及想來台參加智鐵的原因，隊員們表示，能夠參加智鐵是個很特別的經驗，可以和來自各個國家的選手互相鼓勵與交流，是個很棒的學習及交朋友的機會。
For Chile, it is the first time they came to Taiwan to join IICC, so they were both excited and nervous, and they were honored to be able to represent Chile to go abroad.The members of “TecnoHuasos” said that they could participate in IICC is a very special experience, they can encourage and communicate with players from different countries, it is a really great opportunity to learn and make friends.
繁瑣的關卡流程、語言上面的溝通不良，都讓這些智鐵新手在一開始闖關時感到很困難，但後來他們漸入佳境，越闖越順利《TecnoHuasos》指出，關卡的流程對他們來說很難理解，加上有時也無法理解關主所解釋的意思，所以花了很多時間在了解關卡規則。
The complicated rules of task and the poor communication in the language made the newcomers feel really difficult at the beginning, but then they gradually got better and better. Members of “TecnoHuasos” pointed that the task process was difficult for them to understand at the beginning, and sometimes they can’t understand the explain which taskmaster said, so it took them a lot of time to understand the rules of task.
面對72小時不間斷的挑戰，智利的小鐵人們在感到疲憊的同時也覺得很興奮，他們表示，原本以為連續三天的挑戰會很艱難但實際體驗過後發現並沒有這麼的難。
Faced with the 72 hours nonstop challenge, the contestants from Chile feel tired and excited at the same time. Members of “TecnoHuasos” thought it will be very difficult at first, but it was not that difficult after they actual go through.
在臺灣的所見所學都帶給來自智利的小鐵人們許多成長，他們將竭盡所能勇闖智鐵，努力獲取優異的成績。（記者吳思妮、盧又鉦／採訪報導）
