隊呼表演上，身著尼泊爾傳統服飾，隨著經典的音樂舞動身體，這是來自尼泊爾的隊伍《The Himalayas》，隊名來自尼泊爾人認為喜馬拉雅山代表著他們的國家。
With classical music, dancing in the traditional Nepalese costumes, this is the team from Nepal, The Himalayas. Thinking that the Himalayas represent their country, they use the name of the mountain as the team name. The traditional costumes of Nepal is the thing that they would like to introduce to others the most, and they would like to see how other people look in their costumes. Therefore, on the first day of the IICC, they put on this suit to take part in the opening ceremony and welcome dinner.
《The Himalayas》隊員全都來自同一所高中，長時間的相處之下，他們對彼此相當熟悉，也都清楚夥伴們的優缺點，隊員表示，坦誠和支持是他們維繫感情、建立默契最好的方式，當夥伴間有做不好時，比起忽視，他們選擇有話直說，讓彼此都能愈加進步。智鐵競賽期間，他們更精心安排驚喜替隊員慶生，更顯現出隊員間的好感情。
The Nepalese team all come from the same high school. Knowing each other for a long time, they’re very familiar with each other, and they all know the advantages and disadvantages of their partners. Honesty and support are the best way for them to maintain their friendship and establish tacit understanding. If theye don’t like something about each other, they’ll just tell them instead of ignore it. During the competition, they also arranged a birthday surprise for thier team member, which shows their friendship more.
首度來到台灣，除了炎熱的天氣，以及不適應台灣的飲食習慣外，所有的人事物對他們而言都非常新鮮有趣，因為一切都跟他們平常的生活不同。尼泊爾隊也讚嘆到，能體驗到不同文化、探索一個全新的世界是最棒的部分。
For the first time in Taiwan, except for the hot weather and different taste that is hard to get accustomed to, all the things are very new and interesting to them, because everything is different from what they usually experience. The Himalayas also praised that experiencing different cultures and exploring a whole new world are the best part.
《The Himalayas》也非常把握這次代表尼泊爾出賽的機會，他們表示，透過這樣的國際賽，讓他們認識到各國的文化、認識不同的人，在開幕式時就感受到所有參賽隊伍的智慧，並透過隊呼表演，認識了各國的文化。因為知道智鐵的困難，尼泊爾隊更是從6個月前便開始為競賽做準備，極盡所能，期望能獲得滿意的成果。
And they cherish the opportunity to participate in the IICC, because through the international competition, they can know the culture of other countries and different people.In the opening ceremony, they found the intelligent of each group and getting to know about different cultures. They have made a lot of efforts in this game and hope to do well. Knowing how tough the IICC is，The Himalayas has prepared for it since 6 months ago. They’re doing their best to get good grades.
本屆競賽有高達11支國際隊伍，各個隊伍也透過這樣的機會，有了認識其他國家、了解各國的文化的機會，也在這為期五天的決賽中透過72小時的相處，更加深夥伴間的情感。（記者黃于庭、謝安然／採訪報導）
