由中國傳統故事《吳剛伐桂》發想出的體其題關卡「一布之遙」，為小隊員帶來不一樣的挑戰。關卡設定吳剛和嫦娥走散了，小鐵人必須將搗藥區與桂樹區的訊息傳遞給對方才能解開謎底。過程中，小鐵人要將五顆蠟塊雕刻出15個字母，並利用燈光將答案投影在布幕上傳遞給另一方的隊友。
The task By A Curtain get the teams into physical fitness in different way. Inspired by the Chinese traditional story “Wu Gang chopping the tree”, the contestants have to pass the message in Herbal Area and Laurel Area respectively. They have to use five cubes of wax and sculpt it into 15 letters. Then, they need to use the flashlight to project the answer to each other.
「一布之遙」的難度在於小隊員必須在有限的材料下變化出不同的字母。關主林叡均表示，有別於一般體其題，「一布之遙」考驗的是小肌肉的發達程度，尤其是手掌要夠靈活才能做出小巧的造，如果小隊員將方塊蠟換成紙黏土，分數就會減少。
《那蝦餃逑炸飛星空啪禿》的隊員表示，看到很多隊伍「死」在這一關，因此認為這一關一定具有難度，加上過程中發現應該很難成功，所以將材料換成黏土。
The most difficult part of By A Curtain is to make a cube into different letters. The taskmaster Claire Lin,said, “Unlike the other task of physical fitness, we are able to test their finger whether it is clever or not. We test the dexterity of hands and how to make things into very small shapes.” The team member from “What the NATURE!” said, “We see a lot of teams fail in this task, so we think that it must be absolutely difficult, and we were stuck when we were in half way, so we replaced the wax by clay.”
由於小隊員在闖關的過程中不可使用口唇發出聲音，如何精準傳達訊息對小隊員來說也是一大挑戰，關主林叡均表示，若雙方沒有做好溝通，將會造成題號不符合的情況，也就無法得出正確答案。
As the team was prohibited to make sounds with mouth or lips, so it was very challenging to pass the message accurately. Claire Lin said, if they are lack of communication, they can’t match the message to get the correct answer.
「一布之遙」關如其名，許多隊伍距離勝利真的是一步之遙。即使這個關卡難倒不少隊伍，但是小隊員在過程中無不絞盡腦汁將訊息傳遞給對方，小鐵人認真投入與堅持不懈的態度值得讚許，相信「一布之遙」在小鐵人的心中留下了深刻的印象。（記者韋可琦、祝敏婷／台大採訪報導）
