印尼隊伍 《GARUDA》第一次受邀來台灣參與智慧鐵人創意競賽，來自中爪哇的他們即使習慣了印尼的炎熱氣候，但他們都一致對台灣濕熱的夏天留下深刻印象。
The team GARUDA from Indonesia was first invited to participate Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest. Most of them are from central Java. They have experienced the hot summer days in Taiwan which is totally different from Indonesia
《GARUDA》領隊老師 Finarya Legoh 表示，團隊的組成一開始由印尼科技部向各個學校提出邀請，並由學校派出代表參與智慧鐵人創意競賽。對於能參與這個競賽，她感到十分榮幸，也期望印尼隊能突破各個關卡並在比賽中獲勝。
The teacher of team GARUDA, Finarya Legoh, said that the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia sent the invitation to the school in order to select the representative to take part of this contest. It was their honor to join this competition, and they also hope that their students will break through all the tasks and become the winner.
《GARUDA》的隊員除了熱衷學習新事物，也非常欣賞智慧鐵人的理念。Muhammad Zinedine Alam Ganjar 表示，智慧鐵人的關卡和主軸任務考驗學生臨場發揮的能力，最後的優勝者可以說是真正有素質的學生，尤其是如何批判性地快速思考及運用邏輯思維能力。Difananda Arien Naomi 也表示，智慧鐵人能夠吸引勇於挑戰自我的隊伍，他們希望能夠從中吸取經驗。
The team were enthusiastic for learning new things. They were also impressed by the idea of Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest. The team member Muhammad Zinedine Alam Ganjar said, “Especially for the main project that challenges the team to prepare spontaneously, the winner of this competition is really quality student, how they think critically fast and also, of course, logically.” The other member Difananda Arien Naomi said, IICC is perfect for team who love challenges and they can get the experiences for the future.
抱著想要成為贏家的態度，印尼隊伍在整個比賽過程中表現積極，也充分展現出合作精神與團隊默契，即使其中幾位隊員來自不同的學校，但他們擅於運用自身的專長與絕佳的適應力。對印尼隊伍而言，智慧鐵人不單是一個激發腦力和靈活運用知識的比賽，他們也能透過這個機會把印尼帶向世界的舞台。Muhammad Zinedine Alam Ganjar 認為，智鐵是一個國際比賽，如何與不同文化背景的人相互交流也非常重要，因為他們不單是來學習科學和科技知識，還包括人生的教育、社交能力、如何公開演講等。
In order to become the winner, the team was very active and enjoyed all the tasks. Even though several of them are from different schools, but they were good at using their own ability and able to adapt quickly to new environment. They worked in team spirit and cooperation perfectly. For them, IICC was not only a competition of brainstorming and get flexible use of knowledge, but also to bring Indonesia to the world. Muhammad Zinedine Alam Ganjar said, “Because this is an international competition, it is how we diplomatically join, socially interact with the other people, with the other culture and also background story. We didn’t only learn science and technology in this competition, and also life education, social, public speaking with our confidence too.”
這六名來自印尼的年輕學子勇於踏出舒適圈，探索人生不一樣的風景，無論獲獎與否，印尼隊伍展現出來的勇氣足以讓他們成為自己的贏家（記者韋可琦、祝敏婷／台大採訪報導）
The six young students from Indonesia dare to step out of their comfort zone to explore more potential of their life. No matter who is the winner, their courage is enough to make them winner.
