唯一一支來自非洲的參賽隊伍奈及利亞《DON STUDENT》，六位參賽隊員都是第一次參加智慧鐵人比賽，更是首次來到遙遠的台灣。
隊員Ibekwute,lkemefuna表示，自己很快就適應了這裡的環境，很喜歡智慧鐵人的活動，特別是闖關的部分，他說，這些關卡幫隊員們增廣見聞，來到台灣覺得很開心也受到很多的歡迎。
雖然因為簽證的問題導致《DON STUDENT》在開賽前一天才抵達，無法享受到台灣當地美食，但還是很期待比賽完有機會能體驗。
指導老師Rev.Elochukwu Paul Ojukwu指出，因為在奈及利亞的機場遇到一些問題而沒有搭上預定的班機，所以才會比預計的時間晚到達金門。雖然如此，他希望隊員們不要因為晚到金門或是沒有參加到開幕典禮而感到沮喪，更勉勵他們應該要振作起來繼續努力！
即使有語言上的障礙與時差問題，《DON STUDENT》卻越挫越勇，很快就克服這些問題，也因為如此不認輸的個性，深受工作人員們愛戴。
Ibekwute,lkemefuna說，闖關時，在「不能說的秘密」遇到困難，但在充分了解規則之後，就能順利解決。一開始的時候，或多或少都會遭遇困難，但在最後團隊總能分析問題並解決它。他也表示，不希望空手而回，希望能和隊員們贏得獎項回到奈及利亞。
帶隊老師表示，對於隊員們相當有信心，希望他們不要因為班機延遲的問題就影響心情，而是需要更加振作，並強調明年一定會帶領他們再度參賽。（記者王得翰、于宜民／金門採訪報導）
For the only team from Africa, Nigeria. The member of《DON STUDENT》are not only the first time to come to Taiwan, but also the first time to entry the Intelligent ironman creativity contest.
Because of the visa problem, they are late to Taiwan for almost two days. Due to the reason, they are disappointed that could1`t eat Taiwan food yet. The leader of《DON STUDENT》Rev.Elochukwu Paul Ojukwu says ‘they should not be discourage by what they see or by coming late or because of not participating in the opening ceremony. They have to cheer and move on’.
Despite the language obstacle and the jet lag,《DON STUDENT》still try hard and move on. The mumber Ibekwute,lkemefuna says ‘’At this contest, I don’t want to just go back to my country. I want to go back to my country with an award’ . Rev.Elochukwu Paul Ojukwu promised that they will come for the contest next year.
